Since its inception in 1940, the Chronomat line has evolved to become one of Breitling’s most popular models. The design is an interesting blend of ultra-modern and traditional and takes cues from both aviation and dive watches. It’s also built with functionality in mind and features a 12-hour chronograph and a rotating dive bezel. Thanks to a screw-down crown and pushers, it’s also equipped with 300m of water resistance.

The dial changes appearance depending on how the light hits it, resulting in an intriguing, ever-changing hue. It features the same colour sub-registers with concentric circles pattern and Arabic hour markers. Housed underneath the screw-down case back is the Breitling calibre 13, an automatic Chronometer certified chronograph. Breitling’s pilot-style bracelet is attached to the case, finished in a high polish.

This A13356 example is presented in worn condition with several scratches and marks throughout, corresponding to the seller’s A grading. The owner notes that the watch is in perfect working condition and hasn’t been worn since 2015. The sale includes the warranty papers, the Chronometer certificate, and the original box.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
