Sell it with usOffered by an established UK-based dealer, this A. Lange & Sohne Lange 1 Daymatic ref. 320.025 is presented with its display box, guarantee papers and a leather folder with booklets. The watch shows some light marks on the case, and its condition appears to be within the bounds of the seller’s ‘A’ grading.
This Daymatic reference features a day and date complication, the latter of which is displayed in a ‘panorama’ style. The solid silver dial is nuanced with subsidiary dials to display the times and the seconds. The 39.5mm case is finished in platinum, providing some precious metal heft to this elegant dress piece. The lugs are stepped out and well defined, with a curved profile to ensure an ergonomic fit. Polishing has been applied to the bezel and case back, contrasting with the satin flanks. Securing the watch to the wrist is a factory alligator strap and signed pin buckle.
On the watch’s underside, a sapphire crystal displays the calibre L021.1. A. Lange & Sohne Lange has a well-earned reputation for producing some of the most refined movements in modern watchmaking, and this is no exception. Intricate hand engraving has been applied to the balance cock, and uniform finishing is evident across the bridges. The winding mass is crafted from 21K gold.
The Lange 1 has become a brand-defining model for A. Lange & Sohne. Its unique Germanic aesthetic and impressive craftsmanship have earned the respect of enthusiasts and collectors.
