SUMMARY
This iconic and instantly recognisable Rolex is even more striking in luxurious 18K rose gold. Among the latest generation of Daytonas, the ref. 116505 features the same 40mm case and svelte profile making the watch supremely wearable, particularly for a precious metal chronograph. Complementing the rose gold tones is a black dial with contrasting sub-registers. Also finished in gold are the applied hour markers and coronet at 12 o’clock. Housed inside the 100m waterproof case is the in-house calibre 4130, a robust and reliable movement that’s been powering the Daytona since 2000.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
