SUMMARY
First released in 1992, the sea-faring Offshore Chronograph takes the Royal Oak's distinctive look, adding a more robust design perfectly suited to contemporary tastes. The 42mm case of this example is finished in stainless steel with expertly hand-laid polished bevels along the flanks and lug hoods. Similar attention to detail can be seen on the bezel, with sharp transitions between the brushed and polished surfaces. A white 'Mega Tapisserie', synonymous with the Royal Oak, is surrounded by a tachymeter scale, with contrasting dark blue sub-registers and large Arabic numerals.
