SUMMARY
The reference 16610 represents the very last generation of classically proportioned pre-ceramic Submariners. Striking the perfect balance between vintage looks and modern build quality, the watch features a refined shape, unlike the wide squared lugs and oversize feel of contemporary references. The stainless steel case measures 40mm in diameter and features a rotating bezel with a black aluminium insert. Legibility on the dial is maximised through the use of white gold hour markers coated with Super-LumiNova. A trip-lock screw-down crown affords 300m of waterproofness.
The attached Oyster bracelet is rugged and functional and equipped with a FlipLock wetsuit extension. Internally, the watch is powered by Rolex’s tried and tested calibre 3135 movement, which has a 48-hour power reserve and is chronometer certified.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
