SUMMARY
The Museum Collection by Omega has been around for quite some time, producing modern versions of historically important watches, usually in limited quantities. The Museum Collection No.9 'Milestone 1941' is heavily inspired by military references but is crafted from white gold for this modern iteration. Made in limited numbers, this example is engraved on the case back as number 0516/1941.
The black dial has two subregisters for the chronograph function, while also having a base 1000 (Tachymeter) scale in the centre and a telemeter scale towards the edge of the dial. Sticking to the military theme, the former was often used by military personnel to determine the distance from enemy artillery. The 38mm white gold case also features swing lugs, which are period specific and a defining feature of this visually interesting piece. Behind the vintage-inspired dial is the manual-winding calibre 3203, a chronograph movement equipped with a column wheel mechanism and Omega’s own Co‑Axial escapement.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
Any watch not covered by a current sales or service warranty should be considered as potentially requiring a service, even if in full working order on the date of purchase.
