Sell it with usProduced in a limited series of 1000 pieces in 2006, this Pilot’s Dopplechronograph combines an interesting complication with a stealthy and scratch-resistant 44mm ceramic case. The watch’s dial, built with legibility in mind, is matte black with contrasting white Arabic numerals and markers. A red seconds hand within the sub-register at 9 o’clock introduces a hint of colour. Housed underneath the stainless steel screw-down caseback is IWC calibre 79230. Based upon the architecture of the renowned Valjoux 7750, the Dopplechronograph or “split-second” complication has become synonymous with IWC’s of this era thanks to its development by renowned watchmaker Richard Habring during his time with the company.
Numbered 488 of 1,000, the watch is presented in excellent condition and is being sold with its box, warranty, and spare strap.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
