ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Part of the Patek Philippe line-up since 1932, the Calatrava is the longest-standing watch manufactured by the ‘Holy Trinity’ Swiss watchmaker
- Introduced in the early 2000s, the reference 5053J is presented in a 36mm case crafted from yellow gold
- Its refined design is complemented by a distinctive ‘officer's-style’ hinged case back
- The dial is classically styled with Breguet hands and numerals contrasting against the dial
- A did aperture is symmetrically positioned at 6 o’clock
- Flipping up the hinged case back reveals the calibre 315 SC movement, which is elaborately decorated and features a solid gold winding rotor
- The watch is paired with a factory strap and gold pin buckle
