The brand of Roger Dubuis has evolved a long way since its founding in 1995. From sober, traditionally inspired, watches to oversized, flamboyant pieces, with cutting edge technology.

The ‘Much More’ collection dates from the early 2000s, just at the point that Roger Dubuis left his eponymous company. It is clear to see that the traditional styling of the curved profile, flat sided case harks back to this earlier aesthetic. The complexity of the perpetual calendar is set within a dial design that has enough fair to be eye-catching without straying into kitsch.

Cased in 18ct rose gold the Much More Perpetual Calendar calibre RD5739 shows the day of the week and the month through windows at 12 o’clock, the date at 4 and the moon phase at 4. The leap year indicator sits in a circular aperture at 3. Corrector pushers for setting the calendar are found on the top, bottom and left sides of the case.

The watch is offered in overall very good condition with full box and papers.

The case has minor wear marks with some tarnishing around each of the correcting pushers. The strap is in good condition with only minor marks and no creasing or staining. The clasp has only light wear marks and functions correctly. The box is complete and in good condition.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.

The description of this auction lot is, to the best of the seller's knowledge, accurate and not misleading. Watch Collecting requests a range of detail about the lot from the seller, and performs a level of due diligence. However, bidders must satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of the description, and conduct any research they feel is necessary before committing to a bid.
