• Released in 1984, the modern Breitling Chronomat was created for the Italian Air Force’s aerobatics team
• Often credited as 'the watch that saved Breitling', the Chronomat’s moniker comes from a portmanteau of 'chronograph' and 'automatic'
• The Chronomat’s specially-designed chronograph pushers, bezel, and crown have been designed specifically to be used whilst wearing flying gloves
• This 2003 watch is finished in stainless steel with a blue dial boasting three gold chronograph sub-registers
• Hints of gold can also be seen on the bezel, crown and pushers
• Beneath the rear casing is Breitling’s calibre B13; a self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve
