A follow-up to Panerai’s first Submersible series watch, the PAM 87 brings serious water resistance capability to the Luminor model line. Proudly oversized, the 44mm steel case has a substantial presence on the wrist and has acquired the nickname “La Bomba” thanks to its heft. A 5mm crystal and helium escape valve help afford the watch an impressive 1000m of water resistance. Tritium markers, which have faded to a warm patina, sit atop a marine-themed blue dial, with a running seconds sub-register and magnified date wheel at 9 and 6 o’clock, respectively. Housed inside the case is the automatic winding calibre OP III movement with a 42-hour power reserve.

This 2002 example is presented in good condition with light marks on the case commensurate with age. Also included in the sale are the box, guarantee, booklets, lug pin screwdriver, and spare leather strap.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
