ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Introduced in 1997 under the reference 25860ST, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph adds some technical charm to one of the world's most legendary sports watches
- While the first complications made their way into the Royal Oak in the early 1980s, Audemars Piguet took nearly 25 years to adapt its design to house the two chronograph buttons on the outside of its case
- This example is finished in 18K white gold and features a rare and collectable salmon dial, which is embellished with the Royal Oak's signature 'Grande Tapisserie' pattern
- This example also features distinctive square applied hour markers which are uncommon on the Royal Oak and tie in nicely with the squared tapisserie pattern
- The iconic angular case and integrated bracelet display sharp transitions between brushed and polished surfaces that further enhance its visual appeal and highlight AP's lauded attention to detail
- Housed inside the case is the calibre 2385; An automatic movement boasting a column wheel chronograph and a 40-hour power reserve
