KEY FACTS

• The ref. 16610 was manufactured between 1988 and 2010 and has become a sought-after version of Rolex’s iconic dive watch thanks to its appealing blend of classic looks and modern build quality
• ​It’s the last of the ‘pre-ceramic’ references and defines the end of an era for the more traditionally styled Subs 
• Presented in steel and measuring 40mm in diameter, the watch features a unidirectional dive bezel with a black aluminium insert
• The gloss black dial is made highly legible thanks to white gold hour markers and hands coated with Super-LumiNova
• ​The Submariner’s trip-lock screw-down crown and Oyster case deliver 300m of waterproofness

• This one-owner example was purchased new by the vendor in 2000 
• It’s presented with a Rolex display box and outer sleeve, warranty papers, booklets, wallet, swing tags and an anchor pendant (a collectable accessory no longer produced by Rolex)
• The vendor notes the watch was serviced and restored by Rolex in 2009 and has been worn sparingly since 
• A consignment note from the Rolex dealer is included, however the receipt for the works carried out is not available 
• Graded ‘A’ for condition by the vendor who advises the watch is in good working order
