SUMMARY

One of just 450 pieces and finished in stainless steel, this exclusive watch appears to be a standard interpretation of the iconic Gérald Genta design - it features the porthole-shaped bezel that has become a design trademark of the Royal Oak, and the dial is a deep blue with a ‘tapisserie’ finish. Yet upon closer inspection, the dial features a subtle shadow etching of a Royal Oak Tree - a result of AP’s collaboration with forest conservation charities around the world. Another visual distinction from the standard Royal Oak is the “Audemars Piguet Foundation” wording located at the very bottom of six o’clock.

The watch is driven by AP’s 2225 calibre, which is visible through the rear-mounted viewing crystal. This automatic movement comprises 36 jewels, and has a power reserve of up to 40 hours. Calibre 2225’s most striking visual design feature is its 22K gold rotor.

All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
