Sell it with usThe Glashütte Original Karree Tourbillon is regarded as a watch of great attention to detail and elegance by collectors. This example from 1999 is one of just 25 produced in rose gold. The nuanced rectangular case has serious wrist presence with beautifully stepped lugs and a combination of polished and brushed surfaces. The flying tourbillon draws the eye to the dial and its exceptional finishing.
Housed inside is the calibre 43, a manually-wound movement that boasts a 48-hour power reserve when fully wound. Its gold, skeletonised bridges with hand-engraved floral patterns can be fully appreciated through the exhibition caseback. Complementing the watch’s aesthetic is a factory black alligator strap and rose gold pin buckle.
The watch is presented in worn condition and shows some light signs of wear on the case. The accompanying strap also shows signs of wear. The seller has noted that the watch is running a little fast and could benefit from a service. Included in the sale is a wooden presentation box alongside the guarantee and swing tags.
All watches offered for sale are searched and cleared against The Watch Register database and a certificate is available to the winning bidder upon request.
