SUMMARY
Whilst not as high-profile as other Rolex references such as the Submariner or Datejust, the Air-King still has a rich history that can be traced back to when The Crown manufactured watches for the Royal Air Force after World War II.
The ref. 14000 presented here features a 34mm stainless case mated with the Oyster bracelet. The blue sunburst dial offers a pop of color, while also featuring the ‘Explorer-style’ Arabic numerals at three, six, and nine o'clock. Internally, the watch is powered by the Rolex calibre 3000 which is equipped with a 48-hour power reserve.
