As one of the last generations of classically proportioned Submariners, the 40mm case and gilt-style print on the dial echoes the look and feel of vintage references, while providing modern construction and reliability. Moving inside the case, the watch is powered by Rolex’s robust and reliable calibre 3135, which features a 48-hour power reserve and Chronometer certification.

The seller advises they purchased the watch in 2000 and that it’s been worn sparingly over that time. It shows some light marks and swirls on the case and bracelet commensurate with age. The sale includes a Rolex box, guarantee, pouch and swing tag.
