Sell it with usPresented in a 26mm Oyster case, this Lady-Datejust is well-suited to feminine wrists and those who want to make a statement without shouting too loudly. Despite its relatively modern age, the watch exudes a sense of vintage desirability. Its use of 18k yellow gold throughout the case and bracelet, contrasts against a clean white dial to great effect.
Adorned with a diamond-set bezel and hand-set diamond hour markers, the classic Datejust is elevated to luxurious heights, without losing any of its inherent functionality and legibility. A distinctive Cyclops lens magnifies the date window from which the watch takes its name, while Luminous-coated yellow gold baton hands confidently signal the passing of time.
Within its Oyster casing lies a COSC calibre 2135 movement, both reliable and accurate, as is expected with all Rolex in-house movements.
Made available with its original box – somewhat different to the modern green box we have come to associate with Rolex – and its original papers, manuals, and certification this is a fantastic example of a ref.69138. In worn condition there is marking and patina to the inner and outer Bracelet, yet the crystal and dial clarity defies its 30-year age.
