This Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 3919J is being offered by a UK-based dealer. The watch is accompanied by a factory Patek Philippe leather strap. There are some visible signs of wear to the case commensurate with age and its overall condition is within the bounds of the vendor’s ‘B’ grading.

The case of this Calatrava is finished in 18K yellow gold, and measures a classically proportioned 33mm in diameter. It features a "Clous de Paris" bezel created by hand using a Rose Engine. These intricate pyramid-shaped accents in concentric circles have become a signature of the model line.

The dial is white lacquered, with black painted Roman numerals and leaf-style hands. The constant seconds is displayed in a sub-dial at 6 o’clock. The movement is the Patek Philippe Cal. 215PS, which is hand-wound, with 130 parts and 18 jewels. It has a 44-hour power reserve.

The simple, elegant Calatrava dress watch has been a constant in the Patek Philippe collection since its introduction in 1932. The model takes its name from the Calatrava cross, an ancient ornate cruciform symbol that Patek Philippe registered as a trademark in 1887.
