• The 16800 is considered a transitional reference by collectors, incorporating an interesting mix of features found in both vintage and modern Submariners
• ​Some significant technical updates were introduced on the 16800, most notably a uni-directional bezel and a 300m water-resistant case - an increase of 100m over previous generations
• This example features a matte dial and tritium hour markers that have aged to a warm patina 
• The watch is paired to an Oyster bracelet with reference number 93150 and end links marked 501B
