ABOUT THIS WATCH
- Manufactured from 1962 to 1989, the 5513 is among the longest continually produced watch references in Rolex’s celebrated history
- This reference was famously worn by Roger Moore in the 1973 James Bond movie 'Live and Let die'
- Cosmetically, the ‘two line’ dial has a cleaner and more symmetrical look without the additional text and is appreciated by collectors
- Widely praised for its simple aesthetic, the 5513 was the last ‘no-date’ Submariner to be offered with an acrylic crystal and a matte dial
- Designed to be a more accessible no-nonsense version of Rolex’s iconic dive watch, the 5513 is driven by the non-chronometer certified calibre 1520; a self-winding movement with a 48-hour power reserve
- A screw-down crown and Oyster case offered this example 200 metres of waterproofness at the time of its production
- Attached to the watch is a satin-finished Oyster bracelet
